Refinery setup

Metal peeled off the cathode still needs refining before it becomes a bar.

Refining raises the purity of recovered metal by chemical or physical methods. It comes after recovery in our process flow.

Before refining, a Fujiro machine takes dissolved gold and silver out of solution onto a rotating titanium cathode. The cathode is weighed before and after recovery. The recovered metal is then prepared into an ingot.

The refining process runs through an arc furnace, ingot casting and ingot sample preparation. Our FJ-AS50 atomic absorption spectrometer measures the purity of gold, silver, palladium and platinum.

We set up the refinery on your site.
